Range of Cement Products
Ordinary Portland Cement
Most widely used type of cement, suitable for all general concrete construction. It is produced by grinding Portland Clinker with the addition of gypsum, etc. Grades available:
- 42.5/ 43 Grade
- 52.5/ 53 Grade
Blended Cements
Pozzolana/Slag
Blended cements are produced by either grinding Clinker with Pozzolana (ex. Fly Ash) or Blast Furnace Slag, or by blending Ordinary Portland Cement with Pozzolana or GGBFS. It is technically superior and environmentally friendly to Ordinary Portland Cement.
White Cement
Similar to Ordinary Portland Cement, except for colour. Metal oxides, primarily iron and manganese, as well as pigments influence the whiteness and undertone of the material. More expensive and only used for decorative work.
Special Cements
Sulphate Resisting Cement with low C3A and low C4AF is used to reduce the risk of sulphate attack on concrete where the soil has high sulphate content.
Oil Well Cement with retarder agents is used for sealing the space between steel casing and sedimentary rock strata.
